Hi, I’m Hitomi! For as long as I can remember, food has been my love language. I’ve always loved cooking for family and friends, especially dishes rooted in my Japanese heritage. Watching people smile over a nourishing meal? Nothing brings me more joy.
But like many of us, I spent years caught up in a fast-paced lifestyle — working long hours, skipping meals, eating on the go, and ignoring signs my body was sending me. That all changed when I realized just how powerful food can be. I took a step back, returned to my roots, and rediscovered the healing wisdom of traditional Japanese food culture — especially the art of koji and the gut-friendly lifestyle known as Chōkatsu (腸活).
I became a certified Cho-Katsu Advisor®, started experimenting with fermentation, and began feeling better from the inside out — more energy, better digestion, calmer mind, glowing skin... all from real, wholesome food.
