What is Chōkatsu?

Cho-Katsu (腸活) means “gut activity” in Japanese and is the Japanese practice of activating and optimizing your gut health. After facing personal gut issues and losing my brother to colon cancer, I turned to cho-katsu as a natural, effective approach to healing. Through daily habits like eating koji-based foods, enjoying seiro (steamed) meals, and incorporating exercise and sauna sessions, I saw transformative changes in my energy, digestion, and overall well-being.
